About The Hosts

Hi - we are Barry and Jean Rowe - the owners of the New-Found Guest House. Originally from Newfoundland and Labrador, we moved temporarily to Nova Scotia in the Fall of 2000, fell in love with the South Shore, and have made the area our home. Our new-found property we purchased had a Guest House that needed some tender, loving care. After extensive renovations - we turned our new-found treasure into “The New-Found Guest House” - hence the name reflecting both our Newfoundland roots and our new home. Our love for meeting new people, entertaining friends and family, and gardening all seemed to “come together” in what we feel is a little piece of heaven. We adore our quiet, peaceful and tranquil country setting.

Please make the New-Found Guest House your preferred accommodations and your "home away from home" while visiting the Mahone Bay, Blockhouse and Lunenburg areas. Why not plan a trip? We look forward to meeting you.

Kindest regards,
Barry & Jean Rowe

Take Exit 11 off Highway 103. Go approximately 1 kilometre towards Cornwall. Turn left at Hamm's Hill Road. We are the last property on the right - an old Cape Cod. (180 Hamm's Hill Road  Google Map)
